What is the Creator Fund?
The Creator Fund is our way of compensating you for creating great live experiences on Playback. We believe that your commitment, creativity, and enthusiasm should be rewarded - and we’re opening our wallet to prove it!
How big is the Fund?
We are committing up to $2 Million to the Fund for the upcoming year, but ultimately the size of the Fund is in your hands! As overall usage on Playback grows you can expect the Fund to grow as well. The more reach your Playback room has, the more you earn. There are no earning caps or competition with other rooms, so your compensation comes down to your room’s performance.
How to Qualify / Do I Qualify?
You must be the owner of a Playback room that has 100+ authentic room members. All Playback users must adhere to our Terms and Conditions and Community Guidelines to be eligible.

What Factors Impact Earnings?
Creators earn compensation for each live stream based on the reach and depth of engagement with viewers, as well as bringing new viewers to Playback.
How do I get Paid?
After the conclusion of the month you will get an email from the Playback team with an overview of your monthly earnings.
Once you’ve received your overview email, you will get an email from Melio Payments and provide the account information you would like for us to credit, or provide a mailing address to receive payment by check.
If you have a bank account outside of the US you will need to provide us with your IBAN and Mailing Address. You can see a list of supported countries here.
We pay on NET45 day terms (i.e. for events hosted in August the provided account is credited with funds on October 15th)
We issue room payment to a single account - we are unable to split payments
Playback will provide you with a 1099 form if you earn more than $600 in a calendar year
Rules & Restrictions
For creators with multiple Playback rooms, each room will have to apply for verification separately.
All Playback users must adhere to our Terms and Conditions and Community Guidelines to be eligible.
